What does Taliphera accept?

Clean indoor & outdoor clothes as well as some accessories (such a spilows and bags). Knit: limited work. Technical work such as repairs & alterations, upcycling, customization projects and limited embroidery work.
Each item is assessed on a case-by-case basis, feel free to write your inquiry.

What Taliphera does not accept?

Unwashed clothes.
Leather or fur.
Made-to-order curtains and furniture upholstery.
Textile dyeing or printing.

Do I have to wash my clothes before bringing them in for tailoring?

Yes, only freshly washed clothes are accepted. Please wash the clothes yourself or use a laundry service. To maintain the cleanliness of tools and ensure the well-being of the seamstress, only clean clothes are accepted.

When do I pick up my tailoring?

You will be notified when the work is completed and can book a date for pick-up. If the completed work is not picked up within six months, TALIPHERA reserves the right to dispose of the items.

How can I pay?

Bank transfer, MobilePay, or cash. Payments are settled on the pick-up date.

What if I have a unique request?

Please let me know in advance if there’s anything I can do to ensure your comfort during our meeting or fitting sessions. Whether it’s bringing a friend, having your pet accompany you, opting for a quiet space without music, booking extra time, or anything else – your needs matter. Everyone is welcome! ❤️

How long do I wait to pick up my items?

The time varies between 1–4 weeks, depending on the current workload and the complexity of the service you require. Most tasks generally take 1–2 weeks. Depending on the materials needed or the complexity of the work, some fitting sessions may be required for additional corrections, which can extend the timeframe.

When can I bring my items?

You can bring your clothes by booking a time to visit the studio. Visits are by appointment only on Mondays, Tuesdays, and most Saturdays.

What is the process of the tailoring service?

Book a time or send a picture for a free consultation. We’ll agree on the final details once you bring your items at the studio. I write you when your items are ready and you book a pick up time. Payment is settled during the pick up visit. Read more…

Where is TALIPHERA’s studio?

TALIPHERA’s studio is a private cozy space located upstairs in the culture house UngdomsKulturHuset, near the Botanical Garden/Den Gamle By. Upon booking a visit, you will receive directions to the location.
Note: there is a staircase.

Can I bring my own materials?

Yes, if desired, clients may provide their own materials (e.g., zippers, threads, buttons, fabrics) needed for the tailoring work.
Alternatively, TALIPHERA can source these materials for you. However, materials provided by TALIPHERA cannot be exchanged for free after the work has started.

How are complaints handled?

Once the finished tailoring job has been picked up, clients have a two-week right of complaint. During this period, the item can be brought back to be adjusted free of charge if the final result does not match the original order. Note: there is no refund for repairs.
